Based in Brussels, Belgium, Glass District is a research and advocacy organization that promotes and supports transparency and best practices throughout the European Union financial sector. Our work focuses on working with banks, regulators and decision makers in order to develop and spread best practices that will promote transparent conduct and sustainable growth in the finance sector.
Being funded mainly by EU grants and small scale contributions allows Glass District to remain independent and objective. Our team is made up of experts from the banking industry, regulators, anti-corruption agencies and academia. Our breadth of knowledge and our interdiciplinary focus allow us to both understand the industry's needs and to come up with innovative solutions by thinking outside the box.
Our work is guided by a set of values, which underpin all that we say and do: transparency, accountability, integrity, justice and democracy. We are non-partisan and stress a great deal of importance on our objectivity. To keep up to date with our work sign up for our newsletter.
